 Infant  Death--Violent  Rites  cd {Apocalyptic  Empire Rec.}
This  is  my  first  encounter  with  Norway's  Infant  Death  who  just  released  their  third  full length Violent  Rites.The  title  of this  release  could  not  be  more  accurate  as  the  music  is  raw,vicious thrash  metal.The  guitarist  knows  how  to  play  and write  aggressive  and  fast  patterns  but  their  are some  really  well played  guitar  patterns  mixed  in  with the  chaotic  guitars.The  drummer  does  a  great  job  of  keeping  up  with the  guitars  as  playing  a lot  of  crazed,fast  drum  patterns.The  vocalist does  a  great  job  with  harsh  thrashy  screams that  really  fit  this  bands  music.If you  are  a  fanatic  of  early  speed and thrash  metal  then  do yourself  a  favor  and  pick  up  a  copy  of  Violent  Rites    today.
